Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Ready Case Beef Plant, Olathe, KS (1st shift)

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring associates use proper safety equipment.
• Maintains work areas (e.g. keeps floors free of debris ensures equipment is operational and clean and removes hazards).
• Requests materials supplies parts and repair services as needed.
• Manages daily production operations by planning and establishing work schedules and assignments.
• Monitors and evaluates operations programs processes and practices for quality and effectiveness.
• Inspects materials products and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Assists with production sequence planning to meet production goals and deliver superior customer service.
• Ensures timely resolution of associate performance concerns.
• Completes and analyzes departmental reports.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives within a Lean culture by documenting and implementing improved processes.
• Participates in new hire onboarding and ongoing associate training.
• Provides process improvement guidance related to waste control quality management and process effectiveness.
• Coordinates completes and oversees job-related activities by:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Communicating goals and objectives

The annual salary range for this position is $65500.00 - $98000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
