Production Supervisor

About the role:As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all the production-related activities and the day-to-day operation. Provide leadership to all assigned personnel and ensure that all safety quality and productivity goals are met. Track line efficiencies and quality as well as labor to ensure operation within budgeted youll do:Leadership & Workforce Management -Provide leadership to assigned shifts ensuring fair and consistent application of processes and procedures across all daily startup meetings communicate goals and provide realtime coaching and develop and crosstrain employees to maintain a flexible and skilled performance issues promptly and in partnership with HR and regularly with plant personnel to maintain a high level of any issues to the appropriate management in a timely manner including quality concerns people issues technical problems and schedule Planning & Execution -Ensure timely production by identifying and developing present and future capacities in manpower and equipment to meet product requirements in the most costefficient production schedules are met by deploying the appropriate resources while managing labor costs to productivity production output scrap downtime and other key performance metrics; implement or support corrective actions as production operations with Engineering Quality and Supply Chain Management by reviewing reports and daily operations as accurate completion of production records logs and & Continuous Improvement -Ensure products meet all quality specifications; partner with Quality when nonconformances toward the elimination of scrap by evaluating causes and implementing processes that ensure required quality standards are met and all departmental associates are trained and informed of all quality and improve production processes systems and procedures to maintain and enhance quality while minimizing waste and continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing with internal and external customers to improve processes increase product quality and strengthen customer satisfaction by consistently achieving product quality and ontime delivery & Work Environment -Responsible for the safe and efficient daytoday operation of the a clean safe and organized work environment (5S).Ensures Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred. 25 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing; medical device or regulated industry experience preferred. Experience with GMP ISO 13485 or FDAregulated environments a written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well independently and with fellow team members. Attention to detail and quality procedures. Strong leadership communication and conflictresolution skills. Ability to prioritize multitask and manage a fastpaced environment. Solid understanding of production processes and quality standards. Basic computer proficiency (ERP/MRP systems Microsoft Office).
