Job Summary:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers at Jabil Inc.s CVG200 402 facility to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production schedules and assign tasks to production team members.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor production staff on new procedures equipment and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Maintain accurate production records including output scrap rates and labor hours.
• Collaborate with other departments such as quality control engineering and maintenance to optimize production flow.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S principles.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Enforce company policies and procedures including safety guidelines and attendance.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes lean principles and quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate train and develop a diverse team.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
