Production Supervisor 3rd Shift

Job Summary
As the primary leadership presence on the overnight shift the Production Supervisor must demonstrate strong decision-making problem-solving and communication skills while serving as a liaison between employees and management.
- Lead and supervise production employees to meet safety quality delivery and productivity goals.
- Plan and coordinate staffing work assignments and production schedules.
- Monitor production processes and address issues impacting quality efficiency or delivery.
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Train coach and develop employees on work procedures equipment operation and safety practices.
- Address employee concerns performance issues and workplace conflicts.
- Inspect materials equipment and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Partner with engineering and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
- Ensure materials supplies and equipment are available to support production requirements.
- Complete performance reviews disciplinary documentation attendance tracking timecard approvals and other supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintain production labor and operational records and prepare reports as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives special projects and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to work in a drug-free workplace and pass required screenings.
- Conversational Spanish.
- Experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending reaching squatting kneeling pushing and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. independently and more than 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to operate or work around manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and typical manufacturing conditions.
- Frequent communication using radios and other communication devices.
Position Type: Full-Time Exempt
Salary: $60000 $70000 annually
Sunday Thursday 10:00 PM 6:30 AM
Overtime as required
