SUMMARY:

We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead a team on 3rd this role the production supervisor will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing a fast-paced environment like production the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Operate with a sense of positive energy and urgency.

Ability to work effectively in both a team and autonomous environment.

Able to adapt to the companys culture work safely and possess a positive attitude.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role

Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

Advanced skills in MS Office

Organizational and leadership abilities

Communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Problem-solving skills

High School Diploma; Degree in a technical engineering or relevant field preferred

Paragon Tempered Glass LLC is a specialty fabricator offering custom glass solutions to numerous markets from two U.S.-based facilities. Products include both flat and bent tempered glass to meet demanding expectations of strength thermal and aesthetic quality.

YOUR ROLE:

Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.

Closely supervise employees on assigned shift through coaching and training to meet specific goals for each production line/area.

Understands the operation of the machinery and job tasks on the production line.

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.

Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained by all direct reports.

Enforce the Company work rules and administer progressive discipline as necessary per established guidelines.

Assists direct reports in maintaining a safe and accident-free work environment.

Evaluate the performance of direct reports and provide constructive feedback for employment growth.

Identify process improvement opportunities and help with implementation.

Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

Help coordinate the flow of production between shifts communicating relevant information about production activities and potential issues.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

The ability to lift (from floor to waist level) push and pull 50 pounds.

The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on concrete surfaces with regular periods of stooping bending or sitting.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

3rd Shift

Sunday- Thursday minimum 40 hours Mandated Overtime as needed
