Position Summary
Supervise manufacturing and assembly processes for MEAAs multi-shift operation to achieve continuous and efficient production of high quality products. Direct and assign daily work assignments according to the Production Schedule. Assist Production Manager by implementing Safety activities Continuous Improvement activities Cost Savings activities and any other activities that improves MEAAs manufacturing.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Supervise the daily activities and staff required to assemble and manufacture MEAA products in accordance with company policies and procedures and customer specifications. Includes supervision of non-production areas in the absence of the immediate supervisor.
Develop associates by training cross-training and providing continuing education opportunities.
Conduct formal performance appraisals for hourly associates to assess associate performance and help associates improve their performance. Administer corrective disciplinary action; resolve associate complaints through impartial investigation counseling or corrective action.
Maintain and monitor E-Time for hourly attendance.
Maintain and monitor associate records (e.g. absence request forms daily production numbers preventive maintenance check sheets and quality control check-sheets among others).
Support and make recommendations to improve company policies and procedures.
Investigate and implement associate suggestions to improve MEAAs Safety Quality and Productivity.
Participate in the selection process by interviewing job candidates and/or evaluating temporary associates.
Further the goals and positive professional image of the Production Department by acting as a liaison between production personnel and other departments to gain information resolve problems and enhance relations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Associates Degree in Industrial Management Business or related area plus a minimum of three years experience in a supervisory capacity or equivalent.
Verbal written and cross-cultural communication skills emphasizing interpersonal and group presentation skills.
Detailed knowledge of production techniques processes and methods.
Broad knowledge of Production Planning Systems (such as JDE).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents related to MEAAs products.
Hands-on technical expertise in mechanical electrical and electronics applications
