Job Summary
ALAMCO creates world-class glulam mass timber beams and utility poles.The Production Specialistis a position with an opportunity to learn new skills and produce a product you can take pride in.
Type of Work: This position will work in a production environment to lift stack glue sand and trim boards of lumber to form custom mass timber beams and glulam utility poles. Must be comfortable with and able to do consistent heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds on a regular basis). Must be willing to get dirty (we offer uniforms and safety equipment) and work in sheltered but hot & cold environments.
All employees may be trained in multiple departments and are expected to fill in (as needed) outside of their home department. Other departments include lumber storage lumber preparation glue & forming finishing and machine operation. This position will mostly be in the Finishing department sanding/drilling/cutting timber beams and poles.
Starting Rate:$20.48
Work Week:Monday - Friday and/or Saturdays as needed
Work Location: In person
Day Shift:6am - 2:30pm plus overtime as needed
