Core Responsibilities

  • Lead daily injection molding operationsto ensure safe stable and efficient production performance.

  • Drive production performancethrough data-driven decision making and operational excellence.

  • Coordinate activities across teamsincluding Production Maintenance Engineering Automation and Quality.

  • Oversee moldsetupand changeoversto align with production schedules and capacity requirements.

  • Promote a strong safety-first cultureby ensuring compliance with LEGO safety requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and lead a high-performing teamfosteringaccountability collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Identifyand implement continuous improvement opportunitiesto enhance production flow and manufacturing efficiency.

As a Production Group Leader you play a crucial role in supporting the broader organization by leading this dynamic department. Your leadership ensures seamlessoperationsoptimalresourceutilization and the development of a skilled workforce. By aligning production goals with LEGOs strategicobjectives you contribute to the companys mission of delivering exceptional products that delight customers and uphold LEGOs reputation for excellence.

Do youhavewhat it takes


A degree or technical training in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Plastics Engineering or Automationis desired.Experiencein manufacturing operations preferably within injection molding or highly automated environments.


Must have:

  • Demonstrated leadership experiencemanaging production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes mold setup process validation and troubleshooting.

  • Proven success in driving operational performanceand continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience with highly automated manufacturing systems including robotics and digital platforms.

  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing teamfosteringcollaboration and accountability.

  • Excellent problem-solving skillswith a focus on safety quality and compliance.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)and quality management systems like ISO 9001.

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance coordinationand equipment reliability strategies.

  • Background inplasticstechnologyor related fields.

  • Strong analytical skillstoidentifyproduction trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Experience in cross-functional collaborationwith engineering and automation teams.

  • Ability to adapt to changing business demandsand operational conditions.

  • Proficiencyin digital manufacturing systemsand data-driven decision-making.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $104327.00 - $156491.00 based on anticipated responsibilities market benchmarks and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to prior experience skills expertise location internal equity and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details inclusive of benefits will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
