Job Summary
Ecolab is seeking a Production Shift Lead to join our team in Greensboro NC. As a Production Shift Lead youll work with departmental leaders to develop and implement actions to meet plant goals and deliverables while coordinating processes equipment and people to maintain the continuous flow of products and services.
Provide direction and issue work assignments for other team members
Identify safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives. Recommend corrective actions
Ensure team is meeting all safety productivity and quality goals
Ensure constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges
Ensure all personnel on the shift are performing required transactions completely and accurately
Troubleshoot process problems and develop improvements
Assume responsibility for shift in supervisors absence
Ensure all documentation is complete
Assist in preventative maintenance and repairs of system operations
Assist in manufacturing schedule optimization and updates for shift change
Lead and actively participate in Kaizens 5S TPM and special projects
Ensure completion and integrity of all documentation
Other duties as assigned
Work week and shift: 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am
Gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and processes.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

2 years of experience working in a production plant

Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems
Basic computer knowledge
Professional experience coaching mentoring and providing feedback
Excellent communication skills
Previous forklift operating experience
