Job Summary
Job Summary
Responsible for planning coordinating and monitoring production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery of manufacturing projects. Works closely with procurement production and support teams to manage materials resolve scheduling constraints track project progress and maintain accurate scheduling data. Supports continuous improvement initiatives and helps optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop issue and manage production schedules and material plans.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or shortages.
- Identify scheduling risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve workflow issues.
- Track materials open requirements and job progress.
- Provide scheduling support and reporting to staging and parts teams.
- Assist with job closeout activities including validation of labor materials and purchase orders.
- Support inventory management parts returns and process improvement initiatives.
- Promote and maintain workplace safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Scheduler I or 25 years of related company experience.
- Experience using Oracle and BOE systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Strong planning organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to lift carry push and pull materials as required.
- Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
