Purpose of Role:
The Production Scheduler - Assembly is responsible for planning and coordinating assembly operations to support production targets customer demand and on-time delivery. This role works closely with Manufacturing Engineering Materials and other cross-functional teams to maintain efficient production flow manage priorities and resolve scheduling or material-related issues.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Plan and control assembly schedules for designated production areas based on capacity and demand requirements
- Serve as a key interface between Master Planning Assembly Components and Material Planning to align schedules priorities and material availability
- Coordinate daily production meetings and support work order release and retrofit planning
- Manage material shortages production disruptions and exception messages including escalation of critical issues as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy material flow and operational efficiency
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Manufacturing Production Planning Supply Chain Logistics or a related field preferred
- Experience in production scheduling production planning manufacturing operations or a related field
- Experience in working in a global matrix organization as a plus
- Strong organizational problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to quickly learn new systems tools and business processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems and production planning tools preferred
- German language proficiency a plus
