Job Description:
Performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases. Implements planned production schedules labor loading and capacity requirements. Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules. Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports including recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods. Expedites flow of materials parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Essential Functions:
Accurately move and transact material in a timely manner
Manage inventory locations
Enter data accurately into CostPoint (ERP system)
Data entry into Excel to provide traceability and metrics
Communicate product or documentation discrepancies
Assist multiple supporting functions with various material related duties
Perform tasks designated by management
5S responsibilities for designated area
Responsible for packaging shipments of completed goods against external sales order or customer demand.
Responsible for receipt of units in Lab MES Database create E-File Folder create travelers and Cost Point processes.
Perform necessary Cost Point transactions to allocate complete assemblies to upper-level manufacturing orders complete reliefs of dispatched production on the operating floor research production control issues and questions when asked by various supporting job functions.
Responsible for transactions of nonconforming material within our quality systems and ERP systems.
Expedites flow of materials parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong computer skills experience with Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Edge
Experience with Costpoint/TipQA is a bonus
Experience with data management / processing preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to multitask and change priorities as directed
Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
