Production Planner Scheduler

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Plans prepares issues and controls production schedules and coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
• Coordinates directs and monitors the procurement of materials production schedules and shipment of orders including directing the deliveries of materials and release of orders to manufacturing and maintaining proper inventory and costs throughout the order.
• Oversee the progress of orders from release until shipment.
• Advises management of the status of work in progress material availability and potential production problems to ensure that personnel equipment materials and services are provided as needed.  
• Implements reviews recommends and/or performs timely corrective action required for all rejected material.
• Assist shipping/receiving as needed Assist other departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelors Degree in a Supply Chain or related field
• Internships in Supply Chain or Production planning
• Good experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and writing Communication skills with internal and external customers
• Experience with scheduling using scheduling/planning software tools

ADDITIONAL  WAYS TO STAND OUT

• Bachelors degree and 2 years of planning/production scheduling experience or 4 years experience in planning/production scheduling in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree
• Experience in SAP
