Production Planner I

Together Were in It for primary purpose of this job is responsibility for the planning and execution of company forecast production schedule materials plan and materials control activities to support operations goal of on-time shipment. Manages demand forecasting capacity planning and the maintenance of the Build Kanban system. Analyzes identifies and corrects finished inventory to ensure date is accurate and delivery schedule is & Responsibilities:Adheres to all safety and quality and directs preparation of a schedule of Kanbans to conform to delivery dates manufacturing capacities available manpower orders in process to keep informed of manufacturing status and when needed initiate the necessary steps to maintain conformity with summary reports of safety stock and delivery performance on a regular basis and communicate results to Materials Manager and Production and communicates current and potential problems and opportunities so the management team can make appropriate decisions. Proactively leads change for improving efficiencies and interact with IT on system and process as operations customer service -to-day interface with operations to ensure readiness and release of the sales and operations planning effort within the inventory variances identifies root causes and provides effective corrective and coordinates between manufacturing procurement engineering finance and suppliers regarding component and schedule requirements and in cost reduction process improvement and quality improvement other functions as Requirements:Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.1-3 years experience using MRP/ERP computer systems.(Oracle/Kinaxis - Preferred)1-3 years Scheduling/forecasting experienceExperience with High Mix Low volume (HMLV) manufacturing products within a regulated industry (Medical preferred)Knowledge & Skills:Proven experience and understanding of Kanban Market -high proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills. Potential salary range for this role is $75k-$85k. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
