Production Planner, Entry

The Production Planner supports manufacturing operations by preparing and maintaining detailed production schedules aligned with demand requirements plant capacity and material availability within PPGs Aerospace business.

You will sit onsite in our Dallas TX facility. You will report to the Coating Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production schedules to meet required volumes while considering plant capacity and material availability
• Perform pack planning and bulk planning based on production requirements
• Monitor actual production figures versus planned schedules and identify variances
• Prepare and implement schedule adjustments in response to production constraints material shortages or demand changes
• Support production meetings by providing schedule updates and production data
• Ensure planning activities align with quality safety and manufacturing standards
• Maintain accurate production planning records and reports to support continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Manufacturing Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred
• Working understanding of MRP systems within a manufacturing or QA environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
• Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing environments
