At Thermo Fisher Scientific youll help our customers make the world healthier cleaner and safer. As a Manufacturing Technician II you will support Zeta Plus & IPC production by operating equipment following standard work and helping ensure products meet safety quality and compliance requirements.
- Operate production equipment according to SOPs work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Perform basic equipment setup changeovers routine checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to support product quality.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately to maintain traceability and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Identify report and escalate issues that may impact safety quality compliance or delivery.
- Maintain a clean organized and inspection-ready work area using 5S practices.
- Follow all EHS policies PPE requirements gowning protocols and cleanroom standards.
- Support troubleshooting cross-training and Practical Process Improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations production laboratory or a related field.
- Basic math skills including formulas decimals and fractions.
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $20.00$23.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
