Production Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced high-volume environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in production management exceptional team leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing best practices. The Production Manager will oversee a large workforce and drive operational excellence through continuous improvement efficient resource management and effective leadership.

Lead and manage daily production operations across multiple shifts

Supervise a team of 6 Production Supervisors and a total workforce exceeding 90 employees

Monitor KPIs implement corrective actions and ensure production goals are met or exceeded

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency quality and safety

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including engineering quality maintenance and supply chain

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols quality standards and company policies

Maintain and improve workflow processes capacity planning and labor utilization

Train coach and develop supervisory staff to build a strong and capable leadership pipeline
Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties and certifications.

Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain Operations or a related field (required)

Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role

Proven experience managing a team of 5 production supervisors and a total workforce of 75 employees

Strong leadership communication and organizational skills

Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is highly preferred

Demonstrated ability to drive results improve processes and foster a high-performance culture

Working knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
