Production Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced high-volume environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in production management exceptional team leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing best practices. The Production Manager will oversee a large workforce and drive operational excellence through continuous improvement efficient resource management and effective leadership.

• Lead and manage daily production operations across multiple shifts

• Supervise a team of 6 Production Supervisors and a total workforce exceeding 90 employees

• Monitor KPIs implement corrective actions and ensure production goals are met or exceeded

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency quality and safety

• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including engineering quality maintenance and supply chain

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols quality standards and company policies

• Maintain and improve workflow processes capacity planning and labor utilization

• Train coach and develop supervisory staff to build a strong and capable leadership pipeline

Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties and certifications.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain Operations or a related field (required)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role

• Proven experience managing a team of 5 production supervisors and a total workforce of 75 employees

• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills

• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is highly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to drive results improve processes and foster a high-performance culture

• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
