Production Manager

Berman Auto Group is looking for a Production Manager to lead our high-volume shop in Niles IL.

Pay: $75000 - $100000 / year

Responsibilities:

• Direct monitor and dispatch technician workloads to maximize daily efficiency
• Maintain seamless communication between Service Advisors Technicians and Management to keep everyone on the same page
• Relay repair orders quickly minimize delays and handle Used Car Inspection ROs with accuracy
• Keep Service Advisors updated on repair statuses potential delays and parts requests
• Track technician productivity goals manage shop maintenance and order/organize special tools
• Keep the Service Manager updated with daily status and activity reports

Qualifications:

• Required: Experience as a Journeyman/Master Technician and/or Service Manager within a dealership environment (Note: If you dont know what a flat-rate hour is this isnt the role for you!)
• Exceptional organizational multitasking and communication skills
• Comfortable navigating Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and standard shop software
• Ability to positively motivate manage and develop a diverse team of technicians
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
