We are looking for a Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations serve as a primary customer liaison and drive plant performance through strong leadership planning and accountability. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to build a culture of excellence.
What Youll Do
As Production Manager you will oversee production operations to ensure outstanding customer service while meeting plant efficiency safety quality and environmental standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable execution
Plan schedule and coordinate plant production activitiesincluding shipping and receivingto meet customer needs without compromising efficiency
Translate customer requirements into executable production plans
Support and embody the companys Mission and Values in daily operations
Implement and enforce company policies procedures and operational standards
Collaborate with plant leadership to maintain safety quality and environmental compliance
Lead and develop a high-performing production team focused on safety and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Participate in and at times lead problem-solving efforts to improve production performance and reduce inefficiencies
Analyze KPIs and present findings trends and improvement strategies during operational meetings
Coach mentor and guide team leads and supervisors to promote safe efficient and consistent operations
Participate in employee recruitment onboarding training and development at all levels of production
Support fair and consistent performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
Foster a culture of accountability respect teamwork and employee engagement
Perform other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
Bachelors Degree required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations
Prior leadership experience in a production or operations role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); AS400 experience is a plus
Knowledge of the automotive industry and quality systems such as TS16949 and ISO 14001 preferred
Highly motivated results-driven leader with a positive collaborative approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers
