Production Manager (Asset Lead)

Essential Accountabilities:

• Take daily accountability for safety quality and productivity results of assigned teams.
• Ensure teams meet manufacturing targets for safety quality and productivity through the execution of the Rockline Operating System.
• Provide daily leadership and direction for direct reports and team members to improve efficiencies quality or implement corrective action plans for underperforming lines.
• Analyze manufacturing data and recommend measures to enhance equipment safety product quality production efficiencies equipment performance and scrap rate.
• Coordinate staffing and overtime requirements to meet production needs.
• Ensure that customer expectations are understood and met by all members of the asset team.
• Enforce adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Optimize shift transitions through consistent communication with direct reports and team members.
• Select mentor and develop direct reports to improve performance and foster their professional development.
• Coordinate or conduct training as required.

Qualification Requirements: To excel in this role you must meet the following qualifications:

• Internal Candidates:
• High School or GED and 8 years of manufacturing or manufacturing support experience with 4 years of supervisory experience. OR
• Associates degree and 4 years of manufacturing or manufacturing support experience. OR
• Bachelors degree preferably in engineering supply chain operations management or business and 2 years of manufacturing or manufacturing support experience with observed leadership competency.
• External Candidates:
• Bachelors degree plus 2 years of manufacturing experience. OR
• High School diploma with 6 years of progressive manufacturing experience including a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills in a positive and professional manner.
• Exceptional verbal written and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
