Job Summary
Your role:
As Production Manager you will be responsible for ensuring high performance execution of plant production activities across multiple shifts and/or departments to produce products that meet established quality customer service safety innovation and cost metrics consistent with schedules and policies.Youwill ensure systems processes and resources are in place to provideoptimal cost savingsand efficient production of grain-based food products for our customers.To succeed youmustbe able to:

Your responsibilities:
Drive safety initiatives to ensure injury-free performance including monthly safety training observation audits daily employee toolbox meetings and near-miss / first-aid root cause and corrective action
Develops/supervises and providescoaching to salary and hourly operation team membersusingtheArdent Mills corevalues and guiding principles
Maintain compliance with company policies regulatory requirements quality specifications safety standards and sanitation practices
Develop and execute plans on a weekly and monthly basis to achieve cost efficient and accurate packaging warehouse operations and bulk loading processes
Maintain asset reliability by working closely with the reliability team on preventative care as well as through operator care activities
Develop participate and lead process improvement initiatives includingCenterlining Preventative Maintenance Pristine 5S and ELEMEDS (Every Load Every Mill Every Day Safely)
Drive improvement and efficiency through GAP analysis and metric based monitoring
Participate in and lead team through customer issue follow-up and corrective actions
Leverage computer systems andautomation process across facility for production efficiency
Essential skills and experience:
Bachelors degreeorHigh School diploma/GEDequivalentwith4years of productionexperience
Minimum of 2years experience havingleadership responsibilities inan industrial environment (milling agricultural food production or equivalent)
Demonstratedexperience with leading others including performance management coaching and developmentwithin a production environment
Demonstratedknowledge andability to implement LEAN practices and tools to improve processes
Experience managing projects and driving data-baseddecision makingprocess
Good to have:
3years ofproductionleadershipexperience
Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies tools trends and best practices
Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to perform work at a computer and other administrative/managerial tasks
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses protective footwear hard hat hearing protection and at times a respiratoror a harness)
Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights weekends and holidays
Ability to work a machine-paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week with conditions which include:
Hot/Cold temperatures (inclement weather)
Indoor/Outdoor environment
Dusty environment(to include Wheat/Gluten allergens)
Noisy environment
Frequent moving/vibration/ or other motion of equipment/processes
Elevated Places
Ability to perform work safely which may require:
Frequently standing walking rotatingbending/stooping twisting crouching kneeling balancing and reachingor lifting at varying heights and levels
Frequentlyclimbing stairs and/or ladders
Occasionally lifting shovelingand/or carrying
Occasionally pushing and/or pulling
Working in confined or elevated places
Other considerations:
Must be able to read interpret instruction and technology and communicate effectively in English
Must be willing to work alongside yourteam including long days(days evenings and nights) as well as weekendsor holiday work.

Competitive Compensation:
We provide market-driven base pay based on skills abilities and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidates unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $86200.00 - $122000.00 with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution company performance and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - OIP 10% Annual.Benefits:
