Responsibilities include efficient preventative maintenance and repair of food manufacturing and packaging equipment including Aseptic Fillers Cappers Packer and/or High Temperature Processing (HTP) equipment. Can execute Preventative Corrective and Break down Work Orders under direction of a Level II III Lead or Supervisor. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate planInitiative- Volunteers readily; undertakes self-development activities; seeks increased responsibilities; asks for and offers help when neededInnovation- Displays original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving workSafetyFollow all facility human and food safety policies including proper use of all near misses and accidents to the production :Adheres to all Quality Assurance System guidelinesFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to conduct required testing for products prior to processing after processing and prior to product comply and support the HACCP a clean and organized work all areas of the plant with general with other shifts and the management team in the housekeeping a member of the FSQ team ensures the effective shift communication and teamwork with the other operators occurs on each scheduled effective communication with members of the support Communicate and and TrainingPromotes and contributes to the development of a strong among co-workers as a DevelopmentContinuously improve your knowledge of the aseptic filling Responsibilities: Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent.A self-starter capable of working in a team-based Qualifications:Aseptic processing and high-speed form/fill/seal packaging and Skills:Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental to work with mathematical concepts such as addition subtraction multiplication and to apply concepts such as fractions to solve practical problems and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule of business and manufacturing Considerations:Location: This position will be at the SunOpta Plant in Modesto : SunOpta currently has an opportunity on Night Shift 6pm to 6:30 am on a 2-2-3 : Some flexibility may be needed on Rate: $36.75/hourThere is a $2.00/hour shift differential for working the 12-hour night shift on the 2-2-3 : This will be a Night Shift 6:00 pm - 6:30 am on a 2-2-3 Environment: This position will be in a production / manufacturing Demands: This role may require lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
