YOU

As a Production Lead you will guide and support employees on the production floor to ensure safe work practices high-quality output and efficient completion of customer orders. Youll coordinate workflow train team members maintain production standards and help drive continuous improvement across the Shear Brace Department.

You will also support production flow by assisting with material handling inventory accuracy troubleshooting equipment and communication between departments. Youll help ensure work orders are completed according to drawings schedules and quality standards while maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

Workflow Coordination & Production Execution (40%)

Coordinate workflow by reviewing work orders drawings schedules and material needs. Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Assist with changeovers stage materials support production flow and post production for steel wall and wood wall.

Leadership & Daily Direction (30%)

Lead and support production employees by assigning work communicating instructions and directing daily tasks. Provide onthejob training coach associates and model safe efficient work practices.

Quality Documentation & Communication (10%)

Verify production quality and accuracy of work orders and components. Support scanning and documentation. Communicate with Supervisors Associates Sales and Shipping/Receiving. Maintain KPI boards recap sheets and lead Tier 1 meetings.

Inventory Materials & Equipment Support (10%)

Maintain inventory accuracy through stock checks physical counts and posting production. Create work orders and back orders. Assist Material Handlers and perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and tools; coordinate with Maintenance as needed.

Safety Organization & Continuous Improvement (10%)

Maintain clean organized work areas and uphold safety and LEAN standards. Identify opportunities to improve processes materials equipment and workflow. Promote safe work practices and communicate safety concerns.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above youve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • 23 years of experience in a leadership or lead role
  • Ability to read production drawings and apply arithmetic and measurement skills
  • Knowledge of machines and tools including operation maintenance and repair
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work crossfunctionally with other departments
  • Basic computer skills including Excel Word PowerPoint and SAP
  • Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform frequent physical activities including standing walking bending kneeling squatting twisting reaching and repetitive hand motions
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to work overtime based on business needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job the employeeis regularly required tostand walk seetalkandhear. The employeeis occasionally required roleoperateslarge equipment while standing forapproximately 8-12hours regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job the employee mayfrequentlylift carrypushand pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with proper equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold loud noise levels vibration and moving mechanical parts.

TRAVEL

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time non-exempt position is located in Stockton CA. It is not eligible for remote work. This is a Swing shift (3:45pm - 12:15am).

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$20.00 / hour
