Production Lead, Fabrication

YOU

As a Production Lead you will guide and support employees on the production floor to ensure safe work practices high-quality output and efficient completion of customer orders. Youll coordinate workflow train team members maintain production standards and help drive continuous improvement across the Fabrication Department.

You will also support production flow by assisting with material handling inventory accuracy troubleshooting equipment and communication between departments. Youll help ensure work orders are completed according to drawings schedules and quality standards while maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

Production Leadership & Team Coordination (35%)
Lead daily production operations by assigning work communicating expectations and ensuring employees work safely and efficiently. Maintain a strong floor presence provide coaching and support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Production Planning & Execution (20%)
Review production schedules and work orders to ensure customer requirements and delivery timelines are met. Utilize SAP and other systems to support production activities monitor performance and maintain productivity standards.

Safety & Compliance (15%)
Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies monitoring safe work practices and ensuring proper use of required PPE.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement (15%)
Ensure products meet quality standards by interpreting prints utilizing measuring tools and applying quality control practices. Identify and support process improvements that enhance efficiency quality and productivity.

Training & Equipment Support (10%)
Train employees on equipment processes safety procedures and quality standards. Support equipment operation and basic troubleshooting to maintain efficient production.

Vendor & Inventory Management (5%)
Coordinate with vendors on production needs monitor incoming material quality and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory-related activities.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above youve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

• 23 years of experience in a leadership or lead role
• Ability to read production drawings and apply arithmetic and measurement skills
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools including operation maintenance and repair
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work crossfunctionally with other departments
• Basic computer skills including Excel Word PowerPoint and SAP
• Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform frequent physical activities including standing walking bending kneeling squatting twisting reaching and repetitive hand motions
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Willingness to work overtime based on business needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk see talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job the employee may frequently lift carry push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with proper equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold loud noise levels vibration and moving mechanical parts.

TRAVEL

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time non-exempt position is located in Stockton CA. It is not eligible for remote work.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$20.00 - $24.00 / hour
