Production Equipment Maintaince Technician

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)is seeking aEquipment Maintenance Specialist (Level B) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston South Carolina on variable shifts including nights and weekends.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs maintenance on factory equipment.
• Troubleshoots analyzes inspects disassembles rebuilds modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.
• Responds to requests for equipment repair.
• Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.
• Works under limited supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must be willing and able to work a variable shift.
• 1 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• 1 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g. blueprint/schematic reading specification change design)
• 1 years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM) Oscilloscopes AC/DC Power supplies Frequency Generators and/or Power Meters
• 1 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance
• 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g. blueprint/schematic reading specification change design)
• 3 years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM) Oscilloscopes AC/DC Power supplies Frequency Generators and/or Power Meters
• 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and Outlook)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
