As a Production Engineer you will play a critical role in enabling safe reliable and efficient plant operations while driving continuous improvement across the site. Serving as a key technical resource you will leverage your expertise in chemical processes and production systems to optimize performance enhance operating discipline and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Youll collaborate cross-functionally with operations maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues implement best practices and advance process innovations. Your ability to analyze data apply sound engineering principles and influence teams will help improve asset utilization strengthen operational excellence and deliver measurable business results.
Through your leadership in problem-solving process optimization and knowledge sharing you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence while supporting the long-term success of the plant.
In this role you will:
- Provide subject matterexpertiseon unit technology equipment and process control.
- Partner with technical and plant personnel to achieve business and operational goals.
- Support site work processes and standard work practices to ensure operating discipline.
- Implement best practices and technologies tooptimizeunit performance and production.
- Improve operating discipline and plant operating procedures.
- Initiate and support Management of Change (MOC) processes asrequired.
- Assistin troubleshooting and train operating personnel in troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with reliability maintenance andimprovementengineers to resolve issues andidentifyopportunities.
- Train and communicate process technology and technical information to plant personnel.
- Lead and contribute to root cause investigations for unplanned events.
- Lead and support targeted process and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools tomonitorand improve performance.
- Identifyand close unit assetutilizationperformance gaps.
- Maintain a personal development plan to support continuous learning and growth.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineeringfrom an accredited university.
- Minimum of 4 years of process and/or production engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.
- Ability to successfullycomplete Lubrizols Process Engineer Training Program.
- Demonstrated experienceleveragingtechnology and process optimization.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and tools.
- Strong written interpersonal planning organizational and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects priorities and goals effectively.
- Ability to collaborate and influence across all levels and departments.
- Self-driven goal-oriented mindset with strong influencing capability.
