Job Summary


The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily production operations by accurately tracking materials maintaining production records and ensuring timely movement of parts throughout the manufacturing process. This role works within the Syspro ERP system to process transactions monitor inventory movement stage materials for production and assist in maintaining an organized and efficient production flow while adhering to company safety and quality standards.


Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Operate within the Syspro ERP system ensuring accurate data entry and transaction processing.
  2. Research and verify production and inventory transactions using company record systems.
  3. Maintain accurate production records and complete all required daily paperwork.
  4. Track material movement throughout the production process.
  5. Work independently with minimal supervision while completing assigned daily tasks.
  6. Stage materials and parts on racks and production lines to support manufacturing schedules.
  7. Coordinate material availability to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  8. Understand and support production takt time requirements to help maintain operational efficiency.
  9. Communicate routinely with production personnel regarding material status and production needs.
  10. Assist in identifying and resolving inventory or material discrepancies.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred.
  • Experience using ERP systems (Syspro preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

  • Ability to stand walk squat and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift carry push and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and commitment to ongoing training for success in the position.
