Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and the Montgomery Personnel Board Rules & Regulations**

Nature of Work

The fundamental reason this position exists isto manage the clerical operations of the Maintenance or Traffic EngineeringDepartment. The Production Controller may supervise approximately three to sixemployees who are predominantly involved in processing office-related functionsof the department such as material acquisitions. The work responsibilitiesinclude managing and assigning dailytasks of employees for all Maintenance or Traffic Engineering Departmentprojects maintaining theproject expenditure database for various Maintenance or Traffic Engineering Departmentprojects and performing various administrative duties. The ProductionController receives supervision from the Maintenance Department Director or theDirector of Traffic Engineering and/or the Department Administrative Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or G.E.D. and four years ofoffice administration experience including bookkeeping duties with at leasttwo years in a senior administrative capacity.

NOTE: Qualifying education training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

Kind of Examination
