Job Summary
IFAB is looking for our next Production Controller!
If you are passionate about the intersection of supply chain shop-floor operations and data analytics this role is for you. You will serve as the operational backbone of our manufacturing process transforming production data into flawless floor execution.
Your Mission
To guarantee that client orders are fulfilled completely and strictly on time (OTD) by managing complex workflows across our stamping press brakes welding CNC machining assembly and coating operations.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Scheduling & Capacity:Manage daily production scheduling sequencing and capacity planning across multiple specialized work centers.
OTD Monitoring:Track on-time delivery (OTD) metrics and proactively adjust variables to maintain optimal floor throughput.
ERP Data Integrity: Execute high-accuracy transactions within SAGE 500 ensuring Bills of Materials (BOM) and master planning data remain completely accurate.
Shortage & Bottleneck Management:Generate daily shortage reports identify floor bottlenecks and resolve priority conflicts to protect shipping timelines.
Inventory Coordination:Monitor material levels on the floor and coordinate closely with purchasing and materials teams to actively prevent line stoppages.
KPI Reporting:Compile and analyze daily production metrics scrap rates and overall cycle times.
Cross-Functional Alignment:Act as the primary communication bridge between production engineering procurement and quality assurance.
Skills & Qualifications
Analytical Depth:Strong ability to interpret manufacturing performance data spot trends and perform forward/backward scheduling or critical path analysis.
Systems Fluency: 23 years of hands-on experiencetransacting within an MRP/ERP system (Sage 500 SAP Oracle NetSuite etc.).
Excel Mastery: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables lookups dashboards) are non-negotiable.
Effective Communication:Clear and confident interpersonal skills to align teams from shop-floor operators up to the executive suite.
Precision under Pressure:Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience Requirements
Education:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business or Operations Management (strongly preferred).
Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated experiencein manufacturing planning scheduling or production control.
Certifications (Huge Plus): APICS CPIM or CSCPcertification is highly preferred and will serve as a major differentiator
