Production Associate Thinset 1st shift (6 am 230 pm) & 3rd shift (10 pm 630 am)

Job: Production Associate I - Thinset

Reports To: Shift Supervisor/Plant Manager

Salary: Starts at $19.50

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate Mixing and Packaging Equipment in a Safe and Productive Manner
• Understand production standards and perform quality inspection of product as required.
• Input Data for production reporting.
• Adjust HMI for the bagging machines.
• Make product changeovers as needed including bag film chemicals pallets and slip sheets.
• Communicate with Supervisor on Safety Quality and Production issues.
• Comply with occupational safety regulations including LO/TO
• Use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain good housekeeping on production floor.
• Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor
• Report any safety issues to Supervisor.
• Maintain chemical hopper levels.
• Trouble shoot equipment to keep operational.
• Performs tasks related to machine cleaning and minor preventative maintenance repairs as directed.
• Operate a forklift safely storing finished goods and retrieving raw materials.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities

• 1-3 years of experience as a machine operator in an industrial environment preferred.
• Computer Competency
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Above average Math Skills
• Familiar with operation of automated production equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and utilize material handling equipment.
• Forklift experience with safe driving record
• Team Player works well with others.
