Volt is immediately hiring for Production Associates in Joliet Illinois.

As a Production Associateyou will:

• Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner
• Concentrates efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications.
• Operate equipment necessary to manufacture customer product. Equipment can includenail guns staplers hammer band cutters bander pallet jack and tape measure
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Monitor quality of product being produced and notifies the lead or supervisor of any issues
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with verbal and written procedures rules and regulations throughout shift
• Be able to fill out your productivity sheet and shipping tag legibly

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to stand for 8 hours at one time
• Work in different temperatures
• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Bending pushing pulling or moving materials

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
