Job Title: Production Associate

Location: On-site Bordentown NJ

Compensation: $16/hr

Employment Type: Full-time temp to hire

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for aProduction Associateto fabricate insulation products utilizing complex machinery and assembly procedures.

**Candidates will be expected to work directly with fiberglass. PPE will be provided by the client.**

Schedule: Monday through Friday7:00AM - 3:30PM.

Responsibilities:

• Produce product by use of machines. Assure operational status of machine at beginning of shift. Review production work orders to determine type and quantity of production materials needed.
• Verify that material received from Warehouse Associate matches material listed on work order. Set up appropriate equipment making necessary adjustments/loads/feeds of material into the machine.
• Remove finished product from machine. Load finished product into appropriate shipping containers. Maintain accurate count of parts packed. Assure quality and perform proper inspections of finalized product.
• Clean up machine and area around machine. Ensure operational status and contact maintenance if there is a problem.
• For die press clean up and remove dies not required for next job run. Inspect die and report any damage to supervisor. Return die to proper storage rack.
• Make minor adjustments to ensure items produced are meeting the quality standards for the order.
• Produce products by assembly.
• Vacuum and clean work centers thoroughly.
• Pack finished goods by use of compression equipment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent general education degree.
• Ability to use and read a ruler to within 1/16th of an inch.
• Ability towork with fiberglass.
• Ability to accurately complete basic math skills including calculating linear/square footage and work with fractions using a calculator.
• Ability to use a computer to understand blueprints and read work orders.
• Previous manufacturing/machine operation experience.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand walk and kneel. The employee must regularlylift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on occasion lift and/or move 50 pounds with or without the use of material handling equipment. The employee must have average manual dexterity.
