Job Summary
Join a team where precision and quality directly impact animal health outcomes. As a Production Assistant youll play a hands-on role in manufacturing products that meet the highest industry standards operating equipment ensuring quality and helping us continuously improve how we work.
What Youll Do
- Run the Line: Operate and control production machinery according to established procedures keeping quality and output goals on track.
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Monitor equipment and processes in real time catching and flagging deviations before they become problems.
- Own Quality: Perform regular quality checks on products and materials and take corrective action to keep everything within spec.
- Keep Equipment in Top Shape: Handle basic machine maintenance and partner with our maintenance team on anything beyond routine upkeep.
- Champion Safety: Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements helping maintain a workplace where everyone goes home safe every day.
- Document the Work: Keep clear accurate records of production quality checks and maintenance activity.
- Work as a Team: Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to fine-tune processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Take Pride in Your Space: Maintain a clean organized efficient work area.
Skills/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Knowledge of machinery operation and basic maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as well as prolongedstanding.

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and carrying heavy objects (often 50 lbs).
- Standing walking and working for extended periods.
- Climbing ladders scaffolding or stairs.
- Bending kneeling and crouching frequently.
Shift:
- Daytime hours Monday through Friday.
- Hours may vary and some overtime will be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: $20 and up based on experience and demonstrated competence.
