OVERVIEW

The Production Assistant I is an all-encompassing midweek and weekend support role with the capacity to lead and support all areas of production. This role is filled by someone who understands and can step into each area of production and operate proficiently rather than emphasizing a single production area. The Production Assistant I carries an elevated leadership capacity actively leading volunteers initiating training opportunities and building relationships across all programmatic ministries. This role is also proactive in identifying needs across the campus related to production and works with the Technical Director to plan and carry out those projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee setup and tear down of stage and meeting spaces involving production assistance
• Operate production equipment proficiently across all areas of production (lighting audio and video)
• Actively lead train and invest in volunteers across all areas of production
• Initiate and lead training opportunities and relationship-building with volunteers presenting new opportunities to the Technical Director
• Proactively identify production-related needs across the campus and plan resulting projects in coordination with the Technical Director
• Organizing production spaces and keeping them to a high standard of cleanliness and organization
• Equipment repair and maintenance
• Production support for Programmatic Ministries (Adults Students Kids)
• Support the development of Production Assistant II staff as they cross-train across production areas
• All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years working or serving across multiple production areas
• Demonstrated experience leading or training volunteers
