Opportunity

The Production Assistant I is responsible for preparing packaging serving and merchandising premium freshly made products while delivering exceptional customer service. Youll work in a fast-paced upscale environment where quality cleanliness and product expertise are essential. This role requires attention to detail food safety awareness product knowledge and a passion for helping customers make informed choices.

• Greet guests warmly and assist with product selection portion recommendations cooking or reheating tips and slicing preferences
  
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products pairings and preparation methods
  
• Weigh cut trim and package products to store standards and customer requests while using proper techniques and equipment.
• Prepare fresh foods according to store recipes and standards
  
• Ensure all items are properly labeled
  
• Maintain attractive and well-stocked cases that reflect the stores premium image
  
• Rotate products to ensure freshness quality and minimize waste
  
• Maintain department organization standards in back stock areas and front of house
  
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols including proper handling storage and cleaning procedures
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to ensure quality
  
• Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environment
  
• Work closely with other departments to support cross-functional needs and smooth operations
  
• Work in multiple food prep areas as needed
  
• Will complete all duties and requests as assigned by management

This is a casual part-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 2:00 pm and 8:30 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 16 years old or older
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Ability to read and follow a recipe
  
• Ability to use knives safely and follow safety procedures
  
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  
• Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
  

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $13.70 - $17.10. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidates education and work location.
