Production Assembler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Production Assembler in Phoenix Arizona for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This entry-level manufacturing position will assemble components and subassemblies using basic hand and power tools while following work instructions quality requirements and established production procedures.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Production assembly manufacturing or related hands-on experience preferred; technical schooling or equivalent training may also qualify.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to use both hands to manipulate handle and assemble components.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and work-order information.
• Ability to perform repetitive detail-oriented assembly work while maintaining established quality standards.
• Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to move pull lift and horizontally transfer materials weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work effectively in a moderate- to fast-paced production environment.

• Experience with general mechanical or production assembly.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Previous aerospace assembly experience.

• Assemble components into simple and complex subassemblies and finished assemblies.
• Use basic hand tools power tools and mechanical assembly processes.
• Follow routing instructions work orders and acceptance-test guidelines.
• Inspect work for proper assembly and conformance to quality requirements.
• Pack and store finished goods when required.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
• Follow all established safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional production and assembly tasks as assigned.

• Full-time onsite in Phoenix Arizona.
• MondayThursday 5:00 AM3:30 PM.
• 4/40 schedule.

• $18.50 per hour.
• Overtime may be available.
