Job Summary

The Product Fabricator I is directly responsible for performing basic manufacturing processes such as tube forming cutting grinding polishing shot blasting sawing brazing. The Product Fabricator I will assist Mfg. Techs and other Product Fabricators in new product development. This role requires hands-on operational knowledge and experience with various types of fabrication processes equipment and tooling.

Principal Activities
  • Knowledge of operational process specifications blueprints routers and inspection reports.
  • Prepare materials for processing / assembly per router bill of materials.
  • Follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
  • Safely operate basic power hand and inspection tools.
  1. Grinders polishers drills punches files saws etc.
  2. Calipers micrometers pins thread gages etc.
  • Sanding polishing and sandblasting of in process and finished goods.
  • Part cleaning with IPA/Acetone/DI Water.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical cleaning applications.
  • Cosmetic acceptance criteria of in process and finished goods.
  • Brazing of fittings wires and adaptors.
  • Welding of adaptors and components.
  • Assemble products per process specifications blueprints routers and inspection reports.
  • Part handling and cleanliness requirements.
  • Perform in process quality checks and document results.

Candidate Qualifications Skills & Experience
  • One to three years manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient with various hand tools (drills saws grinders buffers scrapers etc.)
  • Ability to follow process specifications or operational drawings and record results.
  • Ability to effectively follow directions and respond to questions from employees managers and industry peers.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship both now and in the future.
Certifications

High school diploma manufacturing discipline college accreditation or professional certification ASME/ASTM TIG weld certification.
