Product Portfolio & Prioritization Director

What does a Product Strategy Director do at Fiserv
The Portfolio & Prioritization Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end product portfolio planning and prioritization process across Merchant Solutions (SMB Partner and Enterprise segments). This role ensures investments are aligned to commercial opportunity client demand and strategic impact while creating tight feedback loops between Product Sales and Technology.

This is a highly cross-functional role that connects strategy to execution ensures transparency into what gets built and why and drives accountability against delivery spend and outcomes.


What you will do:
Own Quarterly Planning & Prioritization
Lead the quarterly product planning process across SMB Partner and Enterprise
segments
Establish and run a clear prioritization framework balancing revenue impact client demand and strategic bets
Drive alignment across Product Sales and Technology on what gets funded and
delivered
Collaborate across the partner Engineering teams to create greater domain mobility to support future re-prioritization preferences.
Determine and own AI-enabled processes and toolsets to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of program.


Create Closed-Loop Feedback with Sales
Build and manage a structured feedback loop with Sales to capture vertical gaps client needs and missed deals
Translate field insights into actionable roadmap inputs
Ensure visibility back to Sales when roadmap items are delivered enabling new sales plays and pipeline growth


Manage Portfolio Visibility & Execution Tracking

Maintain a single source of truth for roadmap initiatives priorities and dependencies
Partner with Technology teams to track progress milestones and delivery risk
Monitor spend vs. plan across strategic initiatives and highlight trade-offs or reallocation needs


Drive Operating Cadence & Decision-Making
Run portfolio-level governance including quarterly reviews prioritization checkpoints and executive updates
Surface trade-offs clearly and enable fast informed decision-making
Ensure alignment between roadmap commitments and go-to-market readiness

What you need to have:
10 years of experience in product management product operations or portfolio
management ideally in payments or fintech
Proven ability to run planning and prioritization processes across multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of how to connect sales signals product roadmaps and technical delivery
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales Product and Engineering teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment
Analytical mindset with experience tracking investment ROI and execution performance
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Experience building or using AI products

Salary Range

$136000.00 - $225600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
