The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)is looking for aFirst-Line Product and Service Quality Manager(Level K)to support the Community Manufacturing Partnerships (CMP) teaminAuburn Washington. As a member of the CMP Quality Team you will play an integral role improving standardizing and strengthening the Quality organization while supporting and growing our community outreach mission and uplifting local communities through meaningful employment.A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability trust teamworkqualityand safety.
Position Responsibilities:
Managesemployees who evaluate and ensure that productsservicesand processescomply withcustomer contract requirements engineering requirements companyproceduresand government regulations
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
Acquiresand manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops andmaintainsrelationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partnerssuppliersand direct reports
Managesdevelopsand motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leadertempmanager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
5 years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
3 years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systemssuchWebArt CMES
3 years of experience inaerospace manufacturing
3 years of experience with root cause corrective analysis
3 years of experience performingor collaborating onMaterial Review Board (MRB) product review
Ability to travel up to 20% primarilythroughoutPuget Soundregionwith some domestic and international travel
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 years of experience inaerospace manufacturing
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)
