Join our dynamic Product Operations team. We lead the Operations technical teams during the development of the next generation products. As the technical lead for a product line you will partner closely with multi disciplinary teams during all phases of development to enable product this position you will have responsibility for products prior to launch with the goal of enabling strong quality during the development cycle. This position partners with engineering product development reliability engineering operations AppleCare and component teams. Strong Quality engineering skills in technical statistical knowledge Failure analysis Exec presentations and program management experience are be a successful team member within Product Operations you will partner with the Operations technical team (DFx DFm Test SQE PQE and others) during product development and high volume production. As a technical advisor for the product line you will partner closely with Engineering throughout the lifecycle of development to enable operational success through to mass production.

Support technical readiness for during program development cyclenDrive project quality issues with material process fixtures equipment etc. during the new-product phase to enable delivery of a mature product and manufacturing process into mass productionnUtilize DOE FMEA and other industry-standard tools to proactively identify and address risks and optimize process parametersnEstablish quality programs and process control plans for early detection of issues and to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently deliverednManage the Product Quality Plan (PQP) innovating as needed to ensure robust quality for new productsnDevelop and implement new technologies to improve production quality capacity and efficiencynSuccinctly communicate technical updates to the executive teamnOwn product quality strategy and executionnManage the quality processes at the OEMs including Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)nEnsure contract manufacturers are prepared for pre-production buildsnEvaluate prospective suppliers regarding quality managementnIncorporate lessons learned from sustaining / shipping products into design and process improvements for next-generation productsnWork with commodity managers and supplier quality engineers to ensure component quality u0026 reliability; make recommendations to improve design/testnInternational travel up to 25%

BS in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering or equivalent n5 years of experience is Quality Engineering in a Manufacturing setting

MS in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering or equivalent nLaser-focused on the smallest details and able to use data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issuesnProven experience in one or more of the following subject areas: New Product Introduction / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Operations consumer electronicsnGood understanding of electronic assembly processesnSolid understanding of statistical analysis and production control processesnKnowledgeable in data analysis and interpretation ; Tableau scripting and JMP scripting knowledge is preferrednExperience partnering with international contract manufacturers in mass production; experience traveling to manufacturing sitesnMust be a self starter with innovation integrity and attention to detailnOutstanding communications skills
