Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the strategy development and delivery of technology products within a Financial Services environment. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders software engineering teams architects QA teams and leadership to define product vision manage product backlogs and ensure successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Agile product delivery financial services platforms stakeholder management and translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Define product vision roadmap and priorities
Own and manage the product backlog
Create detailed user stories acceptance criteria and functional requirements
Collaborate closely with engineering architecture QA and business teams
Facilitate backlog grooming sprint planning reviews and product demonstrations
Prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility
Analyze product performance and user behavior using analytics platforms
Drive product improvements through data-driven decision making
Support release planning UAT activities and production deployments
Communicate product status risks and roadmap updates to stakeholders and leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related field
5 years of Product Owner Product Manager or Business Analyst experience supporting software development initiatives
Strong Agile/Scrum experience
Financial Services Banking FinTech Wealth Management or Capital Markets experience
Experience managing enterprise software products throughout the product lifecycle
Strong backlog management and user story creation skills
Hands-on Jira and/or Rally experience
Experience working directly with software engineering teams
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Experience with APIs and system integrations
Experience with cloud-based applications
Adobe Analytics Tableau or BI reporting tools
Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
