Job Summary

Job Title: Product Manager Workforce Management (Retail Scheduling)

Location: New York NY (Hybrid 25% onsite; remote candidates must work from NYC 1 week every month)

Duration: 1 Year

Must-Have Requirements

  • Hands-on retail store experience in the US (Store Associate Team Lead Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager).
  • 5 years of Product Management experience in Workforce Management (WFM) Workforce Scheduling Human Capital Management (HCM) or Retail Operations Technology.
  • Strong experience leading WFM implementation projects as a Product Manager.
  • Experience with retail workforce scheduling labor optimization demand forecasting shift scheduling and workforce planning.
  • Strong understanding of US labor compliance predictive scheduling rest breaks and labor regulations.
  • Experience working with Data Science Engineering Retail Operations and Finance teams.
  • Ability to define product strategy roadmap user stories requirements and drive product adoption.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using labor metrics operational KPIs and ROI analysis.
  • Technical understanding of algorithm-driven scheduling forecasting models and integrations with modern WFM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and strategy for Retail Workforce Management & Scheduling solutions.
  • Gather requirements from store managers and associates through user research and translate them into product features.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to build predictive scheduling and labor optimization capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws while improving scheduling efficiency and store operations.
  • Lead cross-functional execution product delivery rollout change management and user adoption.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates with firsthand US retail store operations experience combined with Product Management expertise in Workforce Scheduling/WFM implementation will be the strongest fit. Experience with enterprise retail scheduling platforms demand forecasting labor optimization and cross-functional product leadership is essential.
