Product Manager, Supply Chain

This is a senior individual contributor role owning the supply chain product vertical end-to-end at a Series A/B manufacturing SaaS company. You will define and drive strategy for procurement inventory management traceability vendor management and BOM/MRP modules within a factory operating system platform. This role sits at the intersection of deep domain expertise and hands-on product craft and directly shapes how modern manufacturers run their operations.

• Own the supply chain product roadmap setting strategy across procurement inventory traceability vendor management and BOM/MRP modules.
• Visit factory floors and engage directly with supply chain directors and procurement leads to uncover real operational pain points.
• Translate complex hardware supply chain logic into clear specs wireframes and functional prototypes in close collaboration with engineering.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to rapidly prototype solutions run data queries and navigate APIs alongside the engineering team.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering design customer success and sales to ensure features deliver measurable ROI.
• Analyze inventory flow metrics user behavior and customer feedback to validate hypotheses and continuously improve outcomes.

• 3 to 10 years of product management experience shipping features end-to-end from research through launch.
• 2 or more years working directly in manufacturing or supply chain operations such as factory floor procurement inventory or logistics roles.
• Prior software engineering or hands-on coding experience whether before or alongside PM work.
• Deep knowledge of procurement workflows BOM/MRP inventory allocation and traceability.
• Demonstrated ability to build functional prototypes and write technical specifications from complex domain logic.
• Experience working across Python React SQL PostgreSQL AWS ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP MES PLM and AI-assisted prototyping tools.
• Proven ability to align and influence across engineering design sales and customer stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in engineering computer science supply chain or a related technical field.
• Background in advanced hardware sectors such as aerospace defense energy robotics or automotive is a strong plus.
• Willingness to work on-site in Los Angeles at least 3 days per week.

Base salary: $175000 to $200000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Hybrid based in Los Angeles California United States with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Candidates in Austin Seattle or Denver may also be considered.
