Job Summary
Product Manager - Data Development & Operations
As the Product Manager Data Development & Operations you will lead a high-performing team delivering key outcomes on Best Buys enterprise roadmap to migrate analytics and data platforms to Google this role youll shape strategy prioritize initiatives and help retire onpremise data warehousing systems to enable scalable cloud-based analytics. Youll work in a collaborative agile environment that values experimentation learning and inclusive leadership. This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What youll do
- Define and evolve a clear product vision and outcomes aligned to Best Buys enterprise analytics and cloud migration strategy
Translate business strategy into product strategy value increments and product specifications that deliver customer and business value
Lead and influence cross-functional teams across data warehousing cloud engineering and business partners within a matrixed organization
Prioritize initiatives and feature delivery using data customer insights industry trends and emerging technologies
Champion customer needs by applying empathy building trust and ensuring solutions solve real problems
Participate in day-to-day product activities driving high-quality outcomes through rapid development cycles
Basic qualifications
- 2 or more years of relevant Product Management experience (e.g. development user experience strategy)
1 or more years of experience in strategy creation customer-focused solutioning or cross-functional leadership
1 indirect team management/leadership/work direction
Experience gathering documenting and prioritizing business and user requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience facilitating Agile Scrum practices including sprint planning backlog refinement and prioritization.
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Engineering Business Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications
- 4 or more years of Product Management experience with proven ability to own and deliver products or platforms that drive customer and business outcomes
4 or more years of experience working with analytics and/or data warehouse technologies
Experience working with marketing processes and systems
Working knowledge of data flows process flows and architectural diagrams
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business leaders
