Team Overview
Our Product team leads the direction coordination output quality and enhancements to PowerSchools product portfolio. This dynamic multi-functional team ensures the effective rollout of new products across the platform packages and positions products to appeal to consumers and helps set the future direction and pace of innovation in our organization.
We are looking to hire this position to cover our TX OK and AR region candidates will need to live in this region to be considered for the position. We have other positions for IL/Great Lakes region and the Northeast. eSchool will need to sit in TX or PA.
Responsibilities
Description
The Product Management team is critical in full lifecycle product planning delivery and marketing with the end user in mind.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Manage product needs for assigned states and/or provinces for our Special Programs product line including writing requirements managing development ticket priority
- Interact with customers for assigned states and/or provinces as needed to determine needs and enhancements required for Special Programs. This includes presentations (virtual and/or in person) facilitating user group and focus group meetings etc.
- Interact with the specific Department of Education for assigned states and/or provinces to determine compliance requirements and timing of releases needed in Special Programs.
- Interact with specific R&D team members to ensure release for assigned states and/or provinces (engineering quality assurance documentation etc.) including ticket management QA reviews prioritization documentation reviews etc.
- Interact with other PowerSchool team members (support customer success sales etc.) as needed to ensure the best experience for our customers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience preferably in the Education Market.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally up to 10% for key moments such as team summits training customer meetings company events etc. with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
- This position is subject to companys on call policies which can constitute working hours outside of the normal workday and or holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Special Education (teaching or software experience) of at least 2 years.
- Experience in Compliance Reporting (actual or software experience) of at least 2 years.
- Experience in the PowerSchool product line (SIS PSSP or other) of at least 2 years

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $80500 - $110600 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures degrees and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
