The Snapchat Product team combines creativity research data-driven insights and operational excellence to shape the experiences that make Snapchat engaging and impactful for our global community. This team of Designers Product Managers Data Scientists Researchers and Strategists works collaboratively across areas such as Core Growth User Experience Bitmoji Augmented Reality and Emerging Products. Together they craft innovative solutions that enhance user connections elevate content and AR experiences and drive the growth and evolution of Snapchats core platform.
Were looking for a Product Manager Content Ranking to join our team at Snap Inc!
What youll do:
Partner with cross-functional teams to build app features and content experiences that ensure Snapchatters of every age in every market are entertained in a safe environment
Build new content experiences with sharp intuition for cultural trends and short-form video including what makes content resonate in the moment and how to surface it to the right Snapchatters at the right time
Launch features and improvements that give Snapchatters greater control over the quality of their content experience all in a scalable way within a privacy- and safety-by-design framework
Develop goals strategy and roadmaps; own products and features from conception to launch and beyond setting the metrics that inform their success and impact
Collaborate with partners across Product Engineering Data Science Legal and Policy to align teams on a shared vision and steer execution toward that vision
Develop and present go-forward recommendations with key stakeholders closely monitoring and measuring the results of all features
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Proven ability to develop a product strategy for content ranking and recommendation systems and translate it into a prioritized data-driven roadmap
Proven ability to define and analyze success metrics and input metrics for a large organization
Strong analytical prioritization and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and align cross-functional teams across engineering data science and beyond
Ability to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced but collaborative and kind environment
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
4 years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience in product management preferably working on content quality content understanding content ranking or content moderation
Passion for Snapchat and creative problem solving

Compensation
In the United States work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $173000-$259000 annually.Required Experience:
