Job Summary
The Product Manager AI Platform & Ecosystem is a product management role on Cook Medicals AI & Innovation (AI&I) team responsible for how the organizations people experience adopt and get value from AI tools. The role owns the product experience across Cooks AI platform ecosystem starting with Claude Enterprise and expanding to adjacent tools and capabilities as they come online; manages the AI Ambassador program; curates the internal marketplace of AI skills and applications; and connects platform capabilities to business value. This is a product role not an IT administration role: IT manages infrastructure licensing security and provisioning while this role manages the product experience ecosystem strategy adoption enablement and capability roadmap working closely with IT under a shared governance model. The role partners with a peer Product Manager who owns AI Governance together forming the PM function within AI&I.
- Own the AI platform ecosystem product experience. Own the product experience across Claude Enterprise and adjacent AI tools define what belongs in the marketplace set quality standards for skills and plugins evaluate new platform capabilities and translate them into actionable recommendations for AI&Is roadmap.
- Curate and govern the internal AI marketplace. Curate and govern the marketplace of skills plugins and applications published for enterprise use and define quality standards versioning practices and publishing workflows for marketplace content.
- Maintain the connected ecosystem roadmap. Maintain the roadmap across Claude Enterprise Foundry CookGPT and future tools and evaluate new platform features as they release to assess fit with Cooks AI strategy and recommend adoption or deferral.
- Own the AI Ambassador program lifecycle. Own the full lifecycle of the AI Ambassador program including recruitment onboarding training ongoing enablement and performance measurement.
- Manage regional ambassador cohorts.Ensure each region has active equipped ambassadors who drive local adoption and serve as the hub connecting the ambassador network in partnership with leaders functions and Human Resources.
Develop ambassador enablement content.Develop and distribute enablement content including best practices prompt engineering guides use case libraries and capability updates while partnering with Human Resources to enable learning establish feedback loops and support adoption across the ecosystem. - Build community across the ambassador network. Hold regular check-ins maintain shared channels and support knowledge exchange; track program metrics such as adoption lift engagement and feedback quality.
- Monitor the AI platform landscape. Track releases roadmaps and strategic direction from Anthropic Palantir and the broader AI platform landscape.
- Brief AI&I leadership on platform developments. Produce regular briefings that translate platform developments into implications for Cooks AI strategy and feed them into AI&Is roadmap.
- Coordinate integration architecture with Foundry. Work with the Foundry team and Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure Claudes MCP protocol layer connects cleanly to the ontology so that what users access through AI tools connects to the enterprise data and intelligence layer.
- Identify new use cases unlocked by platform capabilities. Recognize opportunities where new platform capabilities make previously out-of-reach use cases possible.
- Monitor adoption analytics. Review usage patterns from a product lens not for security or compliance to understand which teams are adopting which capabilities are gaining traction where the gaps are and where the Ambassador program should focus next.
- Operate within the shared governance model with IT. Recognize that AI&I owns product strategy ecosystem and adoption while IT owns infrastructure licensing security and provisioning and coordinate with IT on access management compliance requirements and security policies as they relate to platform capabilities.
- Communicate platform updates to stakeholders. Share platform updates capability changes and strategic direction with stakeholders across the organization and support AI&I leadership in articulating ecosystem strategy to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
Education requirement:
- Bachelors degree in business Management or a related field. Masters degree or higher is preferred.
- 4 year of experience in product management or related roles with a preferred focus on AI or technology products.
- Combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical capabilities into business language for diverse audiences.
- Program management discipline; able to run multiple workstreams track progress and keep a distributed network aligned.
- Technical awareness of how APIs integrations and platform ecosystems work; sufficient to make informed product decisions without needing to write code.
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments; the AI platform landscape evolves weekly and this role evolves with it.
- Willingness to upskill continuously; expected to stay hands-on with the tools managed learn new capabilities as they ship and teach others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AI/ML or data platform experience. Experience with AI/ML platforms developer tools or data platforms in a product management capacity.
- Palantir Foundry familiarity. Familiarity with Palantir Foundry enterprise AI orchestration layers or similar data and intelligence platforms.
- Marketplace or plugin ecosystem experience. Experience with marketplace or plugin ecosystem management including curation quality control and developer relations.
- Change management background. Background in change management organizational enablement or enterprise technology adoption.
- Integration protocol knowledge. Understanding of integration protocols and connector architectures (e.g. MCP APIs webhooks).
- Regulated industry experience. Experience in healthcare medical devices or regulated industries.
Physical Requirements:
- Works under general office environmental conditions.
- Some travel may be required for regional Ambassador program support cross-functional coordination with the Foundry team or professional development.
