Position Objective:

The Product Information Coordinator is responsible for the setup maintenance and accuracy of product and vendor information across Kaplan Early Learning Companys product information management systems. This role supports the complete product lifecycle by ensuring item data pricing vendor information and product attributes are accurate consistent and up to date.

The position works closely with Merchandising Purchasing Marketing IT and other cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of product data while supporting company initiatives catalog production pricing updates reporting and daily operational activities. This position requires exceptional attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintain product records within the Product Information Management (PIM) system and enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft.
  • Perform new item setups and ongoing maintenance for existing products.
  • Create and maintain vendor records and associated vendor information.
  • Process pricing updates and assist with annual company-wide pricing initiatives.
  • Support annual catalog production by loading catalog pricing page numbers and related product information into enterprise systems.
  • Complete routine product maintenance including updates to product attributes classifications descriptions and related information.
  • Generate and distribute weekly discontinued product reports.
  • Perform product data analysis validation and reporting to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and respond to requests submitted through the Product Setup ticketing system in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve product data discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Merchandising Purchasing Marketing Customer Support IT and other departments to ensure product information remains accurate and current.
  • Follow established data governance standards and procedures to maintain data integrity.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Position Requirements Include:

  • Associate or bachelors degree in business administration Information Systems Supply Chain Marketing or a related field.
  • 1 years of experience working in a data-driven environment such as data entry database administration product data inventory management or similar administrative roles.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify data inconsistencies recommend solutions and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Demonstrated dependability accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems ERP systems or enterprise databases preferred.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP software preferred.
  • Experience creating reports and analyzing business data preferred.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management or merchandising processes a plus.
