As a Product Design Engineer on this team you be driving mechanical architectures and specs to achieve comfort and fit across the population. Your work will involve the entire spectrum of product design development: concept u0026 spec development prototyping and testing CAD and FEA analysis detailed design DOE development and user testing. This work is undertaken in our offices our labs and workshops and in partnership with our vendors. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar majornExperience in ergonomics biomechanics or human factors nExperience working in and/or leading technical project groups in a professional environmentnStrong analytical skills with regard to mechanical engineering theorynExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) including emails preparing slide presentations and presenting technical concepts to multi-disciplinary teamsnWide knowledge of basic engineering materials and manufacturing processesnDetail orientated organized and capable of handling multiple assignments at oncenCreative problem solving with experience in failure analysis root cause investigation and DOE creation

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or adjacent fieldnExperience shipping wearable devicesnExperience converging complex products with design and research teamsnExperience with high-volume mass productionnConsumer electronics knowledge in a majority of these disciplines: industrial design optics and lenses cameras sensors displays PCBs and flexes silicon antennas batteries thermalsnFamiliarity with tolerance analysis experience releasing 2D drawingsnExperience designing for weight reduction and structural optimizationnWorking knowledge of FEA principles
