Product Definition Engineer Power Path ICs

About the role

We are looking for a Product Definition Engineer (Systems / Applications Engineer) to drive the development of next-generation power devices including dc-dc converters hot-swap controllers. You will translate system and customer needs into product specifications targeting automotive and computing/server markets while collaborating closely with R&D marketing and customers.

What you will do

• Analyze market trends and customer requirements across automotive industrial and server applications
• Define product requirements (CRS design targets datasheet parameters)
• Act as technical interface between customers and internal teams
• Perform competitive benchmarking (performance cost features)
• Own product roadmap and NPI pipeline
• Create business cases perform ROI analysis and own results
• Collaborate with cross-functional development team to bring products to market
• Train marketing and field applications to drive assigned portfolio to revenue

Your profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5 years experience in applications systems or product definition engineering
• Experience with power ICs: dc-dc buck converters/controllers hot-swap controllers
• Knowledge of automotive industrial or server power systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate system requirements into IC specifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
